Default CWD viv build - pic heavy

I done this a while back before I got my Chinese water dragon.

I'm getting started on a bigger home for it soon, but as it's small now, this enclosure is fine.

Equipment and materials I used:

24" x 18" x 24" Exo terra viv
Some offcuts of kingspan board
Some branches that I cut, stripped, cleaned and dried.
2 homemade vines (theres a thread I posted on here somewhere on how I made them)
3 small flowerpots
Expanding foam
Tile grout
Some 5mm tube, silicone and a few stones for the waterfall
Piece of trunking to run wiring (water heater, waterfall pump, filter)
Acrylic paints
Plastic divider for the pool
Hot glue/gun
Blue led strip and 12v transformer
Some other random bits and pieces.

Took a lot of time to do but I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Anyway, the pics...

I started off by gluing the branches and vines in place:

I added a divider for the pool side:

Fitted a piece of trunking for the wiring and a tube for the waterfall:

I built the waterfall using carved kingspan board, silicone, and some stones from my garden:

I glued on some plantpots and built up the background with kingspan expanding foam and then a couple of layers of tile grout:

Sealed the waterfall:

Some paint, plants, substrate, and lights:

I covered some of the outside with matte black vinyl so you don't see the kingspan against the glass:

And that's it really.

Didn't cost a lot of money to do, but it did take a lot of time. I spent a couple of hours on it every evening for about 3 weeks.

I've since changed it to a bioactive substrate.
Coir and soil mix with plenty of moss from my back garden. Hopefully some of the moss will take to the branches soon too.
Theres some mixed leaf litter (mostly oak) added along with some earthworms and whatever woodlice I could find before it got too dark. I'm sure there was probably a few other random creepy-crawlies mixed in with the leaves too. I added in a handful of dubias too.

Thanks for looking
