With all due respect, mealworms can be fed exclusively to Leopard geckos and many professional breeders have done so for years. I've seen a lot of trash about mealworms being 'able' to eat their way out of the gecko's stomach, however how on earth would the worms survive the acid in the stomach?

Also these geckos obtain heat through their abdomens which is used to digest food, a spot bulb isn't as effective as a heat mat for producing an adequate surface temperature.
