Default Can leucomelas be left to look after eggs

I am soon getting dendrobates leucomelas and plan on small scale breeding them in around a year or so when the females mature, I have researched actually rearing the tadpoles myself but was wondering if i let the leucomelas lay the eggs, i would seperate them into small containers which would be in the terrarium (dont want them to eat eachother) would this be a viable stragety? Also once they are hatched is it necessary to bring them up in a seperate enclosure, if so how many can go in each viv and what size viv should i buy for this
