Default Arcadia deep heat projector + jungle dawn substitute.

I really want to start using the dhp for my reptiles. Going to be testing it first with my bearded dragon. I know he needs the light stimulant so many people recommend putting a jungle dawn next to it. However I was wondering if there's a cheaper alternative to the jungle dawn because I'm not too keen on spending 35 pounds on a bulb when I'm not going to growing plants yet. Also since I'm just testing the dhp I don't want to spend more money on a bulb if it doesn't work out. Could I just use a normal led lightbulb from amazon? Links would be appriciated, if not I'll either test it with my leo or just fork out the money.

There is a vast difference between in the home lighting and the spectrum contained within specialist lamps.

In this case you would be far better to couple the DHP alongside a ShadeDwellerPro unit for your species.

In this way you will cover the spectrum well, provide for the core developed needs over the whole terrestrial spectrum and to a natural low level.
