Default Would this breeding work?

Got a female coming tomorrow, her parents were salmon hypo ca x hogg isle. My question is would I get anything or just commons full of hets if I bred her to my motley 66% het albino male? I don't think I'd get anything but I aren't 100% clued on the genetics at the moment. Thanks in advance

Also if I would get nothing, I will be looking for a pure Hogg or hypo Hogg male if anybody knows of any

hypo is a co dom gene so you would get a 50/50 split on a clutch but the hogg island is a cross im not good at this bit but I think they would be 25% hogg island cross if breed to a bci

so if breed with a motley you would get

normals 25% hogg cross poss albino
hypos 25% hogg cross poss albino
motleys 25% hogg cross poss albino
hypo motleys 25% hogg cross poss albino

If your female is not a hypo/salmon herself then if you bred her to your motley you would get 50% motleys and 50% normals.

If your female is a hypo/salmon then you will get what Lee says (although I would remove the 'Hogg cross' bit as the 'Hogg Island' bit becomes pretty much obsolete as soon as you cross it)

To be honest, I wouldn't even bother with getting a 100% Hogg Island if you are planning to breed it to the cross. All you'll be doing is producing more crosses which are not worth producing IMO.

If you want to breed Hogg Islands, buy pure and breed pure. Otherwise, stick to commons.

I do agree with this as there is to many crosses and not many pure locations anymore or you carnt be sure they are anymore and I also miss read the thread as it was a hypo hogg not a parent was
