Default Grass Lizard egg burst

Hello! First time posting on here but I have some long tailed grass lizard eggs I've been incubating. It's my first time with these guys, and there isn't a lot of info online that I could find sadly.

I'm on day 29 right now, and decided to candle the eggs since I was curious, and one of them literally burst open. I took the whole egg + the yolk and underdeveloped lizard and put them on some paper towels under a heat lamp but unfortunately he was gone.

I've never done this sort of thing before, and I guess I'm just wondering if that's "normal?" The other two eggs look fine to me, so I'm hoping it'll stay an isolated event.

Anyways, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
