Default cresties breeding tub

Hi I'm planning on breeding my cresties I have done all my research over the past few months so I know what to expect etc. The male and female are in separate vivarium though I plan to breed them in a separate new set up storage box . What I really need to know is

Would it be best to remove the male after mating takes place and leave the female in the breeding box until the season is over? (removing eggs ofcourse.)

Put her back in her original vivarium with at lay box?

I thought keeping her in the breeding box would be safer when it comes to her laying eggs as I read first timers can lay in weird places up high etc instead of in the lay box ? Any help would be good cheers TIA

No need for a separate "breeding box". Pop the male in with her, and remove him after mating.
