Default Hey I need Help

My sister and I are getting gecko's this year for our birthday, and I'm getting a male African fat-tailed gecko from CB reptiles, my sister want's a female blizzard or Diablo Blanco from the same place. She want's to try and breed them, but I think it may harm the gecko's and the offspring wouldn't be viable. Am I right?

I wouldn't recommend breeding them, while it would not cause any apparent harm to you, it stresses the geckos out plus the female will need to consume more calcium because of the lost eggs. But you can breed them just that you shouldn't if you're new to geckos

My mother's friends are breeders but i really don't want any of there morphs and there going to be helping us, id rather not harm them was my problem, it would be breeding an african fat tail with a leopard, which i don't think would be viable

Oh I thought it was two African tails, you shouldn't breed them in that occasion, they might fight and it will cause a lot of stress for you and the geckos, but genetic science wise the 2 geckos can possibly breed, there have been hybrids before but most died young and problems appeared later

It is not recommended to breed two different species together.
