BERBER SKINKS - no sign of eggs
Hello everyone, was hoping to seek abit of advice concerning my breeding pair of Berber skinks.

A year ago I purchased a breeding pair of Berber skinks (two years old when purchased). They came in a inadequate set up, which I changed immediately. The seller sexed them wrong and wasn’t feeding them the best diet.

Luckily they were still male and female just the other way round to what the seller thought and they now look much happier and healthier on their improved diet. Also the seller did not say whether they’d actually successfully breed before?

Unfortunately, a year later, despite their drastic improvement, there is still no offspring. The female has abit of a skittish nature but has calmed down a lot since I took them on. They both appear very happy together and do perform normal courtship.

Any suggestions to why no offspring ???

They were probably wild caught.

Thank-you for your response! It’s a shame if that is true. Regardless of no offspring, I still love both of them and I’m grateful that they’re remaining healthy and happy.

If you do have a pair of then it would be great if you got them to breed.
