Default do snakes become more aggressive?

i have put my ksbs together recently and noticed that they seem to be a little snappy not majorly aggressive but can strike every now and then just wondered of this is natural when put together for breeding i have been leaving them alone and not touching them but i didnt know of this helped the problem or if you are suppose to do this
