Default Can someone recommend a good, cheap infrared thermometer?

Looking to buy one ASAP. They range on Ebay from £9.99 upwards, although the cheapest ones tend to have mixed reviews. Can any recommend one of the cheaper ones or should I just go for a brand? Thanks.

Look for an IR temperature gun.

Like all things in life you get what you pay for... but this seems to have some decent reviews on Amazon

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Non-contact...%2C175&sr=8-18

And cost under £10 -

Mine is a no name brand (possibly from Maplins) and has lasted me decades, and I don't recall spending a lot on it

As above ..

This one and loads very similar are perfectly suitable.

Iíve got three .. all different makes /manufacturers/ sellers ranging from £14.99 down to £4.99 ( special offer on Amazon) .

All three look more or less identical and give exactly the same readings..

The technician at work reckons they use the same innards / mechanism in the cheap ones to expensive ones

Amazon has some good deals but it never really seems that clear how much youíre gonna be charged for postage... Iíve overlooked things in the past and got stung..I even managed to sign up for Amazon Prime by mistake once

eBay just seems easier to my mind and I select UK sellers ..

I got one of these. Works perfectly from what I can see (tested on my axillary temp). Thanks.
