Default Smallest ceramic Ive ever seen :•)

Found a mini ceramic on eBay £4.99 so thought I would give it a try, it's arrived this morning and I can't believe how mini it is it was meant to be going in a 4'x18"x18" viv but thinking it will struggle but will still give it a go tho and see what happens I could be surprised

Just wondered what other people's opinions are on it?

That's tiny! Wonder if that would be good for something like a crestie, less powerful than the bugger ones.

Be good to hear if it manages to heat the viv!

Never kept creaties but imagine it would be perfect in small viv's just not sure on 4ft viv's.

first thing i would be worried about is 100W condensed into such a small element thats going to be extremely close to the lamp holder, I personally would expect an overheated lamp holder and burnt wires inside, are they designed for use in a lamp holder or are they originally supposed to have a commercial application?

be carefull,

be carefull,
They are designed to screw into a normal ceramic holder not the plastic versions so I would advise not to use plastic holders even if they are rated to 100w, they are meant for the poultry market rather than reptiles but don't think there will be a problem as longs there are on a stat same as any ceramic,
My only concern whether its going to be any good in a 4ft viv with being so tiny but time will tell

Update on this mini ceramic, struggled like mad in the 4ft viv which I kind of expected!! So didn't leave it in all night I gave it 5 hours and wasn't happy to leave it all night, but think it will be perfect in a 2 or 3ft viv so if anyone out there wants to give it a try in a small viv let me know via pm? It cost me £4.99 + £1.99 p&p will do it £6 posted
