Default My understairs triangle viv build

Hi

So I've got an open staircase and decided to build storage under it and put my shinisaurus viv under there too.

I was left with a triangle and a problem that I could either have decreases sized vivs or build a custome shape viv.

I was browsing my local ads and there was a juwel corner tank pictured from above and my idea was planted. I picked the tank up for £30 and sold the ornaments and filters for £35!

Here's where i'm at so far... i'll add pics as I go

Doors ive cut two pieces of 6mm acrylic which works but I may change this yet.

Iv'e since removed the top glass so I can add two smaller ones for ventilation and plugs etc.

False floor hides water heater and pump which feeds waterfall/dripwall. I've got access hatches so I can adjust temperature of heater etc

I am to keep a group of darts in there once it is estabalished for a few months.

Any questions/suggestions welcomed cheers

Bit progress last night I've got the glass and vent (I know metal is prettier but I have a few meters of it lol) on the top and covered any new foam with silicon and coir. I've stuck a few of the dried mushrooms on the back I got those from pollywogs on ebay

I thought I was good at utilising space but you've taken it to a whole new level

Haha cheers I was quite nervous sliding it in I didn't think it would go for a second. I have literally 1cm gap between the under stairs and tank. I've managed to find an led light which is 1cm high lol

Slight update I've got it back under the stairs as Its getting heavier everyday, led light was a tight fit but its on, I will still use an overhead 60cm exo terra canopy 'sideways' on the top as the tank is 2 ft deep and I want that natural light direction but it is quite cool to think I can offer decent light to plants/moss low down in the viv for once.
