Looks great, very unusual with the leather effect. Any reason why you put the mesh on the outside not the inside so you can't see it? or will you be covering up the edges?

Thanks Well, that door is only temporary so when I was making it I wasn't very fussed about how it looked. As long as it held together & functioned as a door, that's all I was worried about.

I plan to update & refine things at a later date when possible. So with the door for example, I plan to have two door frames glued/screwed together with the mesh screening in between the two frames to hide any messy edges. It should also give a more ridgid door too! I'll do something similar for the top, to make adding/removing decor & plumbing easier.

Made some adjustments & improvements since this thread was last updated & I think the biggest & best improvement has been the dripper! I wanted to make it as hidden as possible whilst Optimus is still able to see it & drink from it.

What do you all think?

UPDATE!!

Bought Optimus a mister & a fogger recently, so now he's getting regular mists everyday when I'm at work which I'm sure he'll be happy about Not long now until his new home will be ready for him to enjoy! Until then though, this is how his current home is looking...

Couldn't resist posting this picture of the bottle feeder I've been working on :P Trying to make it as hidden/natural looking as possible.

Opinions please?

It's been nearly a year since I posted to this thread, wow! A lot has happened since then & I've moved house twice, so only just had the chance to complete the viv which was planned to get finished this time last year.

Anyway, it's now habitable and occupied. Plenty of finishing touches to be made but that'll happen in time. For now, I'll let Optimus get settled into his new & final home. So, you wanna see what it looks like yeah? Well, here it is!!
