Default Soil

I went to homebase today to look for lime free sterilized soil and after an initial look I was stumped, so I asked for help. All of their soil is lime free apparently but when I told her it was for my dragon she point blank refused to sell it to me because she didn't feel comfortable. She told me to go to the vet.
Blooming joke!!!!
So.. What brand and where do I purchase the soil for my beardie?

Any top soil is good enough.

I would make a complaint to Homebase corporate if I were you, it's none of the employee's business what you're using the soil for!

Whilst it must have been a bit annoying not to go home with the soil, I actually think it was good of the employee not to sell it.

OP - you asked for her advice, and she gave it. See if from her point of view. She couldn't guarantee it was safe for your dragon so was better to err on the side of caution.

Sorry, wicks sell it, it's only £4 for a good size bag. I've been wanting to make a natural looking viv! So after reading the care section re bearded dragons, I used the 60% 40% soil/play sand mix, I have to say, it looks awesome and he's been a busy dragon digging it! All in his water, it was black, then he bellied down in the water.
