safe or not so safe
 
hi I have a few fly traps plants
and would love to add one or two to the terrarium
so are they safe to use or not

I can't really imagine a problem other than the snake / lizard crushing the plants or the tortoise eating them ..

I have no idea what you keep of course

Unless you are keeping species that are marsh or bog dwellers, and in a natural bioactive setup those plants will rapidly die.
They need high humidity, and permanently damp growing media, both are cou ter productive for housing herps.

I was thinking of putting two
venus fly trap but I have changed my mind
