Default Planning to Build a wooden viv for Geckos

Im planning to build a viv out of wood tomorrow.

Whats the rough price range im looking at? They would need to house no more then 5 geckos, using heat lamp, thermo (which i seen one for £30), various hides, reptile carpet etc.

I have £140, you think this is more then enough? Im a dab hand at carpentry and live next door to 2 huge DIY stores. I have a saw and a drill so im all set (and am having the glass pre-cut).

The only worry i have is the cost of the wood and glass, as i havn't really looked at the prices.

Any rough ideas or advice.

Also, should i seal the wooden tank inside? If so whats the best and safest sealant?

I already own 2 geckos, i was looking on getting a blizzard morph as i love the color, but the additional leos are not included in the final price.

In all i actually have £300 to play with, i was going to get myself a new laptop but seen as im getting a £3k apple mac in august i thought i may aswell treat the lizards.

Could you recommend a good light source for day and/or night? I have herd some people mention moonlights and standard red house bulbs. Any comments on any of those?

No need for light at night, dont require UVB as they're a nocturnal species.

I heat mine via a bulb so thats why some people may have put they have lights in there. Dont need to, can heat the viv via a mat.

Maybe, but it would be crippled with Windoze, and have spyware, malware, trojans and any other nasty bugs you can think of within minutes of connecting to the net!

Tho personally, i'd get a maxed out iMac for £1400. Unless you're gonna be making professional videos, theres nothing the Mac Pro can do that the iMac can't! I've got the 2006 iMac and its great, even with Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash! - and the late 2007 models are even better by all accounts!

Don't know about the computers
You should have more than enough money to build a viv though, and the best thing to seal it with is aquarium sealant.
