An update long overdue.

Back in 2012, we opened our doors to a very special iguana, some of you have come to know, and some of you have met, back then, this iguana faced some of the common problems found with iguanas, some of which consisted of retained sheds (though in his individual case it was the worst kind of retained shed I had to that point seen), he was a little skinny, and generally dehydrated, he was also very very frightened of people.

It later was revealed despite the obvious husbandry and dietary problems that there was concern over his kindey function, a blood test came back with some problematic results, least of which was high uric acid, most likley due to being fed meats and proteins and very low calcium, this became further more concerning, because due to his health status, he was stressed from the move, it was naturally the iguana breeding season, and he was too underweight for my liking, I personally wasn't sure whether he would survive or not.

Despite that, we done our best, we continued to have his vet offer fluid support, I continued to offer him the food that he wouldn't take, and over time, he did eventually start to eat which definitely wasn't a bad thing.

Over the years, I have endevored to do my best by him, offering him natural sunlght where possible, and really tried hard with his diet, I have been more cautious of his humidity maintenance than I normally would be in some healthier specimens.

No one, I think relised, (I definately didn't) just what was lurking beneath all of that neglect, underneath all of that skinny, wrinkled, frightened, dehydrated, battle scarred, small little iguana, was a great powerful, incredible, and beautful king of the tree, with a monstrous attitude that even the biggest most dominant iguanas I have had here, would have kept their distance from.

I present to you now.

King Albus, the mightest of orange,
The first of his name,
rightful heir to the first dragons,
Lord and protector of the orange kingodom.

Known and feared world wide by many names, some of which are.

The cheifest and greatest of all orange calamaties.
The All powerful.
The impenetrable.
The golden fire.
The fire ball.
The noble.
The stealthiest and wealthiest.
The headmaster and founder of the sacred art of albus fu.
The great and powerful.
The unassesibly hungry.
The devourers of flowers.
Jurassic Pork.

King Albus, the mighty orange.

(sorry I am just being silly lol)

Anyways I hope you Enjoy.
Switchback if you catch this, this was mostly for you mate.

John, I would say, your too modest, your help, and advice, as a friend and advisor, and your support has been amazing, I really wish people understood what a great guy you are, and not just because of the advice you offer, without your input, not just in Albus's case, but with all of our iguanas, we would have found ourselves, stuck, a long time ago.
If anyone deserves an OBE it is you :)
Thanks once again. :no1:

Hi mate, thanks, I have started doing some writing, but it is expensive to publish, it isn't finished yet anyways so I will cross that bridge when it comes to it, if you have any specific requests and I can help, I am sure I can give it a try.
