Hi it is a taste he has aquired for the dust.Mine loves them dusted especially with chameleon dust and nutrobal.I have always fed my boy by hand from day 1 so don't have the problem you have.He will eat locusts from my hand twice a day with or without the dust but like yours loves the dust. Will he eat from your hand at all? Also it will not hurt to dust all his food as long as it is a very small amount. You will know if you are over supplementing as he will have powder coming out of his nostril/s.

Mine hates crickets and so do I so I am glad.He was attacked by a very big cricket when he was tiny tiny so he runs away from them now.It will be fine to dust all his food as long as it is a little.I dip mine in the pot and blow on them to remove excess.Another thing I found is if I just put a tiny bit on the locusts head he will take them.Try that too lol.
