Default Exo Terra tank - Leopard Gecko

Has anyone used a Exo Terra tank, what's your experience with the tank? I got the tank but my Dome Lamp sits on top of the plastic bars. i have the Arcadia Deep Heat Projector 50w and i heard some blubs melt the plastic and foam backing. The Zoo Med Deep Dome Lamp has a Fixture so if i hang it (how high im not sure) will it be safe from melting. im not sure if a 50 w bulb will melt the plasic.

kind regards

So we can get this in the right Section - what are you planning on housing in it?

Could you lay some wooden batons across the top and sit the dome lamp on those instead? It may not look overly pretty but it should keep the heat off of the plastic.

That what I was thinking, but yeah it would not look pretty. Mind it's better than having melting plastic intoxicating the reptile.
