Default How do you think my veiled cham is looking?

hi all,
Ive had my veiled for 2 months now and was wondering how you thought he is looking. Ive had a few little hiccups along the way and without your help I would of panicked myself something stupid so thanks everyone, and thanks to AlisonM for my little baby!

Here he is when I got him:

He is 4 1/2 months old now.

And here he is today:

What do you reckon? I think he is colouring up nicely. Love him to bits

thanks!

i was wondering whether he was looking porky or not? I am feeding him 6 large crickets and 2 wax worms twice a day, the crickets are all dusted with nutrobol. do you think thats too much? when should i start only feeding him once a day or every other day?

no..feed him even more if he will eat it they need as much as they can eat while growing..soon its eating will slow down to the point where your probably start worrying but from what i gather its normal.mine eats 1-4 adult locust a day now depending on how he feels.mines about 5 1/2 months old.

too much D3 try dusting with calypso(pure calcium) daily for 3 to 5 days and 1 to 2 times with nutrabal.

If u feel he's looking porky then Please Stop feeding the 2 wax worms daily they are full of fat & i did tell u ages ago & a few more have commented to you about this & u haven't stopped We didn't say it for fun
Actually didn't want to write this but i was so frustrated that u ask for help then ignore what ur told
U can feed him on any amount of crix as they are not fatty & Bad for him
I hate confrontation but arrgggghhhh listen
I give my cham 1 waxworm a week & my mates give theirs 2 a week not daily
Its up2 to u tho so this will be my last on the subject as im fed up with it

Away to chill with my man

Wax worms in that amount could be fatal it can lead to the cham getting gout from too much protein

We feed all ours 1-2 a week as a treat

Ours get as many crix and locusts as they want never mealworms and as said 1-2 waxies a weekcalcium every day vits every 3 days
