Question cwd temps and humidity??

in my 4x5x2 (lxhxd) i have a temp gradient in the top half it is between 86f and 90f. at the bottom the temp is about 65f. is this ok??

i am thinking about putting another basking site in the lower part of the viv to try and increase the temps.

also my humidity is about 50-60% and cannot seem to get it any higher?? what is the best fogger on the market todo this??

for aded humidity u could screw in a corner shelf.. after coating it with gloss of course.. and place a corner litter tray.. u know the rabbit ones.. ful of water under a basking hot spot????
in a bigger tank a few hot spots and a few UV lights are usually advisable for WDs...

fogger may help aye

350 grams i think... just tried to weight her she was jumping about a bit so will double check tomorrow.. the scales are silver flat ones so really hard to get her weight

edited to add.. my BF reminded me... we got her she was about 7 months.. so she must be about 2 yrs and 2 months... i think lol

shes never been bred and lives on her own and shes never laid any eggs either..

she had a poor start due to bad feeding and lack of uv.. SO possibly shed have been bigger if not for that

she cant be anywhere full grown then.. so pls pls dont put her anywhere near a male..

she cant be bred under 350 grams for her own safety and the quality of eggs at that weight would be dreadful...

I have dealt with an underweight CWD being gravid during one of my worst rescue cases.. she was in the vets 10 days with egg retention and i thought wee were going to lose her as her previous owners had her in with a male and she was 190 grams.. she nearly died..

i have never ever rehomed her but she lives with MY BF so shes never bred from..

she also had a calcium crash during her time being gravid as WD females cant really cope under the weight of 350 grams.. so many keepers just dont take weight and age into account when breeding

hope that helps pet
