Exclamation Help with very sick baby beardie

If a dragon is pencil thin not eating and looks like it is on its last legs what do you think could be wrong with it. We are feeding a syringe of banana crickets ect every hour but it does not seem to have worked so far only have had the baby since this evening as we are tyring to see if we can help it. It was bought as a christmas present for a little boy and the viv is set up perfectly. what can we do and what do you think is wrong with it? any advice please welcome!!!

banana hinders calcium absorption and is too high is potasium so id stop that immediately

without knowing whats wrong a vet is your only option.
it is possibly needing treatment for worms or parasites so feeding it will not make any difference to curing this. it may be something else but by not getting tests done a simple course of anti biotics or wormer which could easily be prescribed and save the dragon wont be administered therefore treating at home should really now be something only done under vet supervision and testing so you can give it what it needs pertaining to its ilness.

it also may be nothing u can cure.. unofrtunately but certainly the only way to find out is a vet asap.

trying to home treat like this could prolong suffering and actually stress the animals hence making it worse.

stress can actually kick start parasites or worms getting a hold so a definate must is a vet app ASAP to save your little chap.

I hope it is something they can help you cure

best of luck

xxxx
