Question We have eggs but they are really soft

Hi all. I have just found two eggs but they were laid on the floor of the box and stuck. I managed to get them off and into the incubator but they are really soft??? Should they be like this and if so how long should it take for them to harden up?

guessing you mean leo eggs ~ if fertile they should 'harden up' within a few hours ~ by harden up I mean that they'll feel a bit like stale marshmallows (they don't go hard like chicken eggs) .... even if they take longer or remain 'softish' I would still incubate them until it became obvious they were duff ie: stinking and flat

Take it`s the enigma that`s laid the eggs then? Typical, you`ve been putting the bedding back in for the last 48hrs and she goes and does it behind your back on the floor in the middle of the night!!!

Haha, why are you hating it?! If you`re waiting for eggs etc then it makes it all the more worthwhile when they eventually do come (however frustrating it is!!!).
