its something that they sell in garden centres and stuff, its a moisture holding substance you can get perlite too which does the same thing but I think is less messy, I will be trying that next time

I get mine from local rep shop may also be sold as Spider substrate

here she is, please note that the wood chips were around 2 inches deep before she started

She doesnt look very big you might want to seperate the male and female

I very much doubt that leo is about to lay eggs, she is too small and her abdomen is the wrong shape

Just because you are new to keeping leo's I am going to just mention that wood chips are not a good thing to keep your leo on, of course its entirely your choice what you keep them on

I got 3 of them today and was told they were around 2 years old.

Doesn't she look old enough?

She only looks to be about 5 months old from that pic have you any idea of their weights whihc is the more important thing here

Wood chips are getting replaced with sand tomorrow. The Viv had my corn snake in there this morning and I didn't have chance to prepare as the trade happened so quickly.

I'll make sure that they are kept properly but for now I'm worrying about her. Do you think she'll be ok?

She looks about 6 months old, she is tiny for 2 years old!!

This is my adult female....
