There are a couple of care sheets on this forum have a good read and set temps right, make sure have quality uv light and test it all before putting in reptile. speaking of which what are you putting in the viv and where are you getting the viv from. i will recomend vivexotic vivariums. there the best in uk.

Dude dont do it! Heated rocks are bad news for a start. Buy yourself a decent 4x2x2 viv section half off (Beardies dont like alot of space at first) get yourself an arcadia 12% UVB tube and starter. A basking bulb and reflector a dimming stat to run this off (Dont buy a usual on/off stat or itll blow the bulb) get a few decent flat wrocks some slate and some cork bark. Mybe some bamboo root. Chose a substrate from the list on the caresheet (Dont use sand for a young beardie) and build a little setup including the raised basking spot usind the flat rocks and slate. Get all your temps perfect and then buy the beardie

my first lizard... actually all of my animals apart from my frog ive got off of other keepers or rescued. its nice cos the hard work in taming them is already done but its also alot of the fun watching them grow and getting them tame
