Suitable Leopard gecko housing?

My daughter wants a Leopard Gecko, and I have agreed as long as she funds some of the cost. A friend of hers at school has one and keep's it in a Lee's Herp habitat like this
she has a spare one, and has offered it to my daughter for £10. Are these suitable long term housing for a Leo?

do you know the size of this? really 1 gecko i would suggest a 2ft long floor space.
you can keep them in really useful boxes as well, which are cheaper than a viv.

Hi, the size is 23 1/4" W x 17 1/2" D x 11 3/8" H

if thats in inches then i think it should be ok, i work in cm. just make sure you provide hides (can be bought or made from plastic tubs) and use a stat.

Yeah that is in inches. I have all the hides etc from my Crestie vivs, just need to get a stat and mat etc. Thanks for that.
