Default Ziggy's Missing Finger

Hey all, I recently (in the last couple of days) got myself a gorgeous Green Iguana I have name Ziggy! She seems to be settling in okay but She does have a finger missing on her right hand. The pet shop did point this out to me but also said it looks like an old wound etc. But you can't trust a word pet shops say!

I just wanted to post a picture or two for you to see for yourself weather or not you think it looks okay.

I am not convinced...... get that checked out mate... I have read about other cases on other forums.
I'l try and find a link abit later on and Pm it to you tonight or something.

It does look like nature has worked well though but....

I would want a proffesional opinion on that.

Iguanas don't just loose toes for no reason and as you rightly say pet shops are not always the best source to take their word from.

Personally I'd just keep a close watchful eye on it for now. It doesn't look fresh but it doesn't look 'old' either. You might have to help shedding close the hand as it already looks a little restricted, which could also indicate its a bit older a wound than initial thoughts.
