Default crickets ANOYING

ive just bought some black crickets and all they do is churp i can hear them upstairs and theres some in the tank in my bedroom so ill be up all night and there too fast for my gecko to eat them does anybody else think there anoying

I get black crickets for my dragons and theyre in my room and ive only ever had them make a noise once lol you must just have a chatty bunch :-p

there none stop do u no y they do it lol im on the edge off cuttin all there wings off wich make the noise (i think)

i was told by my pet shop (so god knows if its true) that the males make noise to attract the females

I switched my leos over to hoppers as the noise drove me insane! The viv is in my bedroom so I was getting no sleep!

This happens to me, but my vivarium is 4 foot tall, so i can never find the buggars! lol.
I usually spend about half an hour looking for them and when i do find them they go out the window. lol

Tend to find it only happens with larger black crickets. You can buy silent crickets in some shops, tad more expensive though.

My youngest son "saved" some from the dragon and he keeps them in an old fishtank. He gets very excited when they start chirping. I have to admit, I really like hearing them, too.
