Hi I was directed to you by a memeber over an import/export query from Indonesia to the UK. I'm planning a visit to Borneo or Java and I wanted find out what it would take to bring a few species of snake and tarantula back to the UK with me. No DWA's.

I would leave it for a week or so and then give it a good scrub. You may need to resurface it if you can't get it off. Write me in a week and let me know how its looking

Thanks for getting back to me.
I used Wickes's own brand of red and black cement dye and the buff colour is a Ever build product. I also used a white cement to brighten the stone work to help bring out the final colour coat. Do you think it may have been the mixture of different products that may have caused this? Could it possibly be moisture in the cement? I've had my heating on 24 7 for the last few days in the hope it may be the latter.

Hi, Matt, what did you use to colour the rock? That looks like a reaction between the varnish and the cement or the colourant. Let me know.

A quick question if I may. Have you ever had a reaction like this after applying the 1st coat of varnish? could it be crap varnish? i'm using International yacht varnish(satin) if it helps. I'm really at a loss now as I'm unsure what to do next.the pond sealer I painted last week hasnt reacted,so,would painting all the cemented areas in pond sealer and then use the varnish over the top of the pond sealer to dull the shine down work do you think?
sorry to be a pain lol

I have been looking for leaf cutter ants for a while now and just
happened to come across this site. I was wondering if you had any
pictures of the colony. Also what set up would you recommend for a small to medium colony?

    Many thanks,
