Hello there. I have found your information on here to be very helpful and well-informed.

I am wondering if you could answer a question i have regarding the arcadia jungle dawn 13w led light. I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere else online.

What is the closest distance I can keep the light from the top of my plants, without any negative effects? I am using 2x 13w jungle dawns in an exo terra 45cm canopy.

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can you please take a look at this thread (it is only 2 pages long) : https://www.reptileforums.co.uk/foru...ce-please.html

The thread is actually pretty short but could you post an answer there on the questions asked?

Hi John, I took your advice and bought the Arcadia ProT5 6%, they look great in my vivs, nice and bright.

These will be used for my two boa imperator, one of which is a sharp albino. I saw a comment on Facebook the other day about the risks of using UVB with albino snakes, are you aware of any truth to this?

Hi, I have a T5 D3+ 12% Arcadia Reptile Lamp Desert with reflector. What is the minimum or the best distance my Baby Bearded Dragon should be from the lamp ? At the moment the highest point from the lamp my Dragon can get to is 30cm. Is he getting enough UV at this point, or should i try to get him closer ? Thank you

Hello fella - I am a newbie onto this site but have found your information so useful - so thank you! I do have a question which, despite researching the internet simply cannot find the answer to (also the instructions didn't say either) - the Arcadia Vivarium Controller - the white switch/button on the top which you can turn either left or right - what is the difference between the two settings??

    Hi John.
Was considering using the mini 80w D3 basking lamp in conjunction with the clamp lamp holder, for a juvenile snake neck turtle. He is currently in a 36" x 16" x 20" high tank. Do you think it would be too powerful in this size tank?
