I thought live births would be easier, that's why I like boas, but then I had a viv full of afterbirth & goo to clean up. AND a grumpy 8ft boa to get the sticky mess off too! (she wasn't impressed!)

At the moment yeah. I've 1 female left that's reserved, the female I'm keeping & the problem 1 that's a male. Not sure whether I'd sell him or not if he pulls through though, depends if I've room for him! How much you gonna be selling your kings for? If you are gonna do anyway

6 is a start! My cali king's a nutcase!! I'm sentimental with it being my 1st snake babies too, I'd have kept them all if I could have! Sold 4 today to a shop in Barnsley, & bought a het albino boa on the way home from a member on here - I seen to have a problem resisting the classifieds section!!! LOL

Thanks Claire! She only had 11, but 1 was still born & 2 died within about an hour of me moving them. Keeping 2 - 1 as a keeper anyway & 1 cos he hasn't shed or eaten yet, just hoping he pulls through!

Yeah my BRB is a brilliant feeder. In fact he is probably the best feeder I have, even my falsie doesn't feed as consistently. Not missed a feed. Although she rarely strikes so I just lay the mouse/ rat pup on top of here in her hide and leave her to it. Hopefully yours will become better soon!!

By the way love king snakes, my first snake was a cali king. Oh and congrats on the eggs!!!

She's only an 09. She's still really tiny, bit of a slow grower probably but that suits me fine! What do you keep??
