Put my name down for one, as long as travelling to Newcastle won't be too long for the little one.

How much are you letting the little ones go for, and where abouts are you based, I noticed it's west Yorks.

    That's fantastic!
I currently own a Leo, horsefield tort, husky and a 3 yr old boy. I've kept snakes previously.
Never owned a monitor before, but always wanted one. Am not the sort of person who does no research before owning a animal, am quite OCD when it comes to things like that haha.

Hiya Debbie, I've noticed that you will have some baby ackies for sale sometime in July, am interested in getting one, and was wondering if you still needed to find a home for any?
    Many thanks Martin.

I'd quite like to get a young one if they are hardy enough. The shop is asking for 125 for this 8 month old male. Do you use a courier service for your animals or collection onl?

    Hi Debbie1962,

I am very new to this forum business so bare with me. I'm looking into getting an Ackie Monitor. I have experience with herps- Ive had beardies and leos, and have worked with others- from Tegus to anoles. Im also a Zookeeper so Im all about responsible animal husbandry.
So yeah I saw in a thread that youre a breeder for ackies. I just wondered if, seeing as I'm a monitor newbie, would it be wise me getting a baby (i.e. off yourself if you have eggs) or going for an older individual. A reptile shop close to me has an 8 month old male that is relatively tame. Is it too risky me getting a baby or are they relatively easy to rear at the age you would sell them.

Sorry if thats a bit lengthy to understand, just didnt know who to ask as dont know anyone who has ackies.

    Thanks,

    Hollie

He's not crazy for his greens , and he's had only about 9 crickets and a few wax worms in a week , I'm thinking of getting some locusts/hoppers as I got him a box of adult locust and he did hunt them in his old viv , but they are £2.50 for only 6 , mind they was big.

Sorry to go on ,but I want to give Ozzie they best care I can.

He has some bits of loose skin around his mouth , I take it he's shedding a little .

    Many thanks for your time

    Cheers

    Thanks for reply Debbie ,
I'm finding my new pet very interesting , but I'm learning new things about him and get worried lol

Temps in old viv was all wrong , it was showing like 88 at both ends , the bulb was at a angle and he had to bask on a log just to get his head in the heat , that's why I wanted to get him a bigger viv ,

New viv temps are 102 at hot and 88 cool , he was on beech chips substrate , but I changed to fine sand from pet store ,
Tube bulb is Arcadia d3 12% UVB
Reptile basking bulb , shines down from mesh circle on top

    Thanks

Hello Debbie. I am very interested in a uromastyx. I'll be honest, I have never owned one before. But I have got a Leopard Gecko. I understand that there are a lot of differences, but I got the gecko as I couldnt find a uromastyx at first. I see you have had some for sale, do you still? I saw the pictures and they look beautiful? Can you reccomend a type for me, i hear the Mali's are good, and I hope to do business with you if my lack of experience is not a problem :) Luke.

Hi Debbie just reading a post about Uromastx where you said you may have lil baby Uro's in October. Well my birthday is in October, and I would like to purchase a couple babies off you around this time. Looking through your pics your lizards look quality!
