Hiya, thank you for the quick reply. I was thinking of making the set up inside the Viv with slate but your polystyrene idea seems to be the better option all round, so thank you for the smart idea. That's a shame your having to sell, but your reasons are understandable. Thanks again
Hi thanks,i'm actually in the middle of composing for sale ad for the as partner is being made redundant and have car issues
For the vivs, one was made out of an Ikea set of draws from their bargain corner, only £3.50 as it had 2 draws missing but i didnt need the draws anyway, an also got sheet of wood (again aorund £3) from the ikea bargain corner to make the other viv. onc the shhet of wood was cut to size and the drawers put up i covered the inside of the vivs with polystyrene wall/ceiliong tiles, fixed with no more nails and got one big sheet of polystyrene which i used to carve the shapes out of and stuck together with no more nails, 3 layers of grout then used stone effect spray paint the finished with a clear varnish. for the spot lights i used angled BC bulb holders and bought some 2 core electrical lead. i use one fixture as as basking light and the other i put a red light in for night time viewing, doesnt give off too much heat.
hiya, cute beardies & set-up you have for them. I'm purchasing a few beardies this week and trying to set up a few basking spots etc b4, was wondering how you made yours? what with etc? if you don't mind sharing
