Hi, best to put the gecko in a small plastic container with damp paper towels inside it and place the tub in the Vivarium half on half off the heat mat this will create a high humidity and aid the gecko in shedding, then very carefully if it has not shed after this you can pull it off with a pair of tweezers, go avoid this happening again, create humid hide for your gecko using a plastic container or reptile hide and placing damp moss balls inside, hope this helps

I Django is spending more time on the hot side of the viv now since turning off the infared light the uth has the temp @ 88 on hot side & 78 on cool side now the humidity isn't fluctuating & he seems happier & more active. Will let you know if he eats on his own tonite or must i still hand feed him. He looks so cuye laying beside his cave sleeping peacefully.

Viv was too hot with the infared bulb & uth so once I turned it off the humidity stays in moderate range so I am assuming the heat was drying the viv b/c I was misting daily even the humid hide would dry out daily so now I am monitoring Django & he is more active but still handfeeding him.
