Well i suggest turning your heat mat off for tonight, (my corn snake heating goes off every night as it would in the wild) and going and getting a piece of perspex first thing tomorrow. Turn the heat back on in the morning, The reason is kings are active at night, so will more likely get caught under the mat tonight. Turn the heat on first thing tomorrow (he will be less active) put the perspex down during the day tomorrow and BINGO! problem solved.

Do you turn the heat off at night? Get some perspex to put over the mat.

Ive got a problem..since i put lilly back in her viv..she is going under the aspen now and moving the sensors so it does not show the right temp...not sure what to do now as she will just burrow onto the heat mat and im so worried she might get burnt as it is hot.
