As I said, you would need one filter, and one pump if you wanted to do this internally. Literally ANY designed for fish tanks would do.

Here is one filter I found on eBay: FLUVAL MINI,U1,U2,U3,U4 UNDERWATER INTERNAL AQUARIUM FISH TANK POWER FILTER | eBay

    and here is one pump:
EHEIM COMPACT POWER HEAD FISH TANK WATER FLOW PUMP 300,600,1000,2000,3000,5000 | eBay

These would do the job just fine. Hope that helps!

Haha no your quite right - you could use a simple aquarium internal filter to keep the water clean, but because the filter is not powerful enough, you would need an additional internal pump to push the water over the fall. Ive done this with my more recent dart viv, it works well and turned out cheaper and obviously neater than the external option.

Hi Liam, im glad you found it useful!

Amazon milk frogs are gorgeous! False bottoms dont have to cover the whole of the base of the viv so it would be really easy to leave a pool of water at the bottom of the fall in fact ive done this for my housemates mossy frogs! Looks fab and in many ways its easier to deal with than the total false bottom as the waters easy to get to. In this way, its also possible to use an internal filter under the false bottom rather than an external!

If you want an external, have a look on eBay for good deals - just make sure the head on the filter will push the water high enough for the fall!

3 - 4 adult milk frogs would be fine in the 60 x 45 x 45 exo terra (the tall one).

    Hope that helps!

    Helen
