Glad to hear everythings going well for you sweetheart. Post up any scans pics you have later in the week. I had lovely huggles this week off a very wee friend, he's 12 weeks yesterday and still so dinky bless him - he puked on me, stared at my boobs a lot and then went to sleep!!! Seems far too long since I did that with my two - I do miss that cuddly bit sometimes!! At 6ft 1" though my baby boy doesnt wanna be cuddled anymore...............cant think why eh!! Take care of yourself lovey xxx

I shall go for the compact, I hate mess! Just hoovered the whole house and giving Tommy tortoise her bath, still awesome to believe she is 112 years old! Just got a phone call from our daughter, she lives in Brighton and goes to Brighton Uni, love her to bits, she is homesick as hasn't been home in just one week LOLL, she misses us terribly so is going to drive back home!!

Thanks again Marie, that is what I shall do in a few months when my present one no longer emits UVB!!! Would I have to purchase 2 separate fittings/bulbs for uvb and light

The bigger one bullied the smaller one terribly before I rehomed them, things are calming down, thank the lord! I agree re. long standing friendships too! I was also worried that the light bulb would burn the plastic hood, I cannot take it off completely as it houses the UVB tube! Would love to see the pictures, thank you, I gave my digital camera to one of my BIL's, will get daughter to take some when she is next home.

Oops, is this better on your page DOH!
LOL we are so sneaky, us females! I recently signed up on freecycle for this reason, son's friend's bro has his own shop, apparently, am waiting if he can give me a better price then I shall swoop! I know I have no light bulb, but seeing as they previously living in treacherous conditions, I don't think they are doing badly at all, I know they are loners, but these two always seem to stick together and there is almost no bullying now lol x

I didn't want to spend any money on them at first as I didn't know if they would survive as the girl who had them before me lost interest and they looked rather poorly when I first got them. So new tank (bigger) 2', the girl had 2 huge rocks in the tank, they couldn't swim, and of course a much smaller tank, I removed 1 rock and a piece of slate, they swim around the whole day, lol, they are so funny! I am aiming to buy an eihem pump, oh, I did buy a clip on light bulb holder, clipped it on the side of the tank, hubbie said that if it fell in, I would lose the lot, so he must be caring a tad lol, I removed it, when I get a bigger tank will get one without the lid, although it has a load of ventilation and doesn't steam up, an upgrade is always on my mind, all in all they have a much better life and have stopped chasing the guppies lol - hope you are well xxx Love Sheila

Marie, they are doing soooo well, they are truly settled in, the two of them are currently basking under the uvb lamp on their little basking dock, lol, they make us laugh, hubbie isn't keen on reptiles, he is Italian, he was brought up with them and they freak him out lol. I am learning as I go along, always adding things to their tank, as you know I bought a new heater for inside the water, new tank, as daughter broke the one they came in whilst cleaning it!
