thnak you Peter I wil do that and will try my best not to to dither with her. You have spoken to my daughter before Lana with Giz and I am the mother her took in kiki after they had a fallout, we have a large double cage inside and are definitely not in this for breeding purposes, we bought Skye from Christine and Pat as a mate for Kiki in January this year so do yuo think she must have been pregnant then? we have an Aviary 9 foot by 6 foot and are in the process of building a heated enclosure to attach to it so they make their home there I hope we are doing the right things and i do appreciate any comments you have, I aso would like any advice on the shed part of the enclosure regarding heating etc, we have all the insulation ready etc but I think did you say convection heating was best? Sorry to go on but am trying to do this the best i can and from what I have read you seem to be the perosn I need to speak with. Kind regards Lyne

Try and put treat in box.
    Towel her...
Just basically do it and dont dither or that will stress.
She may have cought foot on spars or summit...
Hate them kept in cages though.
    Esoesially for breeding.....
    Enclosure inside and out.
Cant let her be a monkey like you ssy you are in a home environment.
    Hope all goes well

Hi Peter our marmoset Skye is pregnant, over the last few days she has been struggling getting about which I put down to the fact she was getting quite large and it was very hot, but yesterday we noticed that she really was limping and is now holding her back leg right up and not walking on it at all. She is not very active but is moving around the cage and coming out and going on the floor and on top of the cage. I realize we need to take her to the vets which we intend to do tomorrow but are so worried about this as we do not want to stress her out. She is 22 months old and has never been handled by us as we have tried to just let her be herself. She will come and take food from us and on occasion has jumped on our knee. What I am trying to ask is what is the best way to go about this without stressing her out. I am so worried about what to do so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
