    Hi Peter,

I have a habistat 600w dimming thermostat that is not turning my lights up within the viv, however if i turn the temp on the stat right down and then back up it may come on for a few seconds and very occassionally minutes if it turns the lights on at all.
If you have any ideas what the issue could be and how i can fix it (if fixing it is possible) that would be great.

    Thanks very much

    Hi Peter,

I have got two living earth electronics habistat 600W dimming thermostats which both have the same problems. The red light on the unit stays on constantly, even when I lower the temperature right down. I have used various different other thermometers to make sure there isn't an issue with the bulb or even with the viv. I have changed the fuses on both stats several times but still no joy. I was wondering if you have any ideas why it does this or how I can fix the issue?

    Many Thanks

Would just like to say a big thank you to Peter and everyone at EuroRep. I contacted Peter ref an issue with my Habistat (not due to the equipment but a power cut/surge) I informed him how old it was etc, I sent it off to them on Tuesday and recieved it back today. It's all fixed and working fine and looks brand new so not only was it repaired but also reconditioned. Excellent customer service!! I'm building 4 viv's soon and i'll be using Habistat Dimming Stats that for sure. Cheers Peter.

The new heat bulb works when connected to the stat.
I changed the fuses in both the light and the stat.
The light did go off when I took the old bulb out but when I changed the fuses the heat light on the stat came on but when trying use the dimmer to turn the heat lamp off , but the light on the stat stays on when you turn the temp right down.

So I cannot regulate the tempreature.

    Anyt ideas
