    Quick question for you.

My Bosc Rexx is now about just over 12 weeks old and about 18inches in length.

Can i start feeding him some chicken / raw meat, if so what meat and which cuts or parts?

He's starting eat his way through prey food at an unreal rate, big bag of 50 cickets.

Let him wonder out the viv put the bag on the floor and open the top, he managed to munch his way through at least 25 in 10 minutes, was in his element.

    id recomend them to anybody.

Think i will start him on 1 or maybe 2 a month as i treat, in the wild they will find or scavange and egg, chick fallen out the nest or a pickie.
They quick when they want to be.
But gut loaded insects will keep him more active.
After all they're not a hunt you down and kill you animal that goes after big prey, they're survivalists with a low metabolic rate they'll eat anything.
So they need to exercise if they're going to be feed well.
    Cheers for all the help

Ok cool will sort out a calender for dusting his prey food. Cheers Pixie least i have had my questions answered and with good info, rather than cryptic garbage from Marlow, SteamedMoron and company.

Getting big quick he's a genuine 9 weeks old now and a smidge under 12 inches already.

The UV question was with or without UV and should i be dusting my prey food even with UV? Dusting and UV from thinking about it is a no, would OD him on calcium.

But the question is to UV or not to UV and what type of source, tube, compact or mercury vapour?

    I'm using a 2ft 10% tube at he moment.
