Yeh, I complained to them and said they needed to be IN water, not bone dry. They said they'd "look into it". *sigh*

Erm, well it just say's "Sarracenia hybridae", which I assume means bugger all. It's got no water at all in any of the leaves/funnel things. Which can't be good? It's obviously sat in water now. I took both plants outside today into the full sun, and saw some small flies drop into the sarracenia

The VFT seedlings have now got a 14W, 16,000K light on them for 16 hours a day! Haha.... couldn't help my self.

He's a small male Rhino Beetle, Xylotrupes gideon borneensis. Lol, I got the name from the well-known South Park character who dies in some way nearly every episode. Well, he has practically died twice.

Yeah, I had some of Slack's originals too, like one of his best S. x excellens and a 3 foot S. flava maxima...
Plus a N. sibuyanensis that South West Carnivores used in one of their prize-winning Chelsea exhibits.

Harsh. i had an Oreo for a while, then I stupidly forgot to water it for faaar too long and it died - it was massive at nearly 3ft tall. I'm quite taken with some U.stygia I got given recently, they are quite cool aquatics - I watch them eat Daphnia quite often.

Had them about 2-3 years, and I was just starting to get my Sarracenia oreophila "sand mountain" seeds growing . I was just getting an outdoor bog ready at the time too. To make things worse, everything was bought with my own money as well.
