Hello Terry. Paula here. How are things? It must be years. I find myself back on this site as I know have taken to snake keeping. Will be three as from tomorrow. I am half way through a college course, Animal management and seem to have started collecting wee beasties. I have hatched leaf insects and have recently bought a beautiful orchid mantis. I have hatched and reared Giant atlas moths which ,Im hoping will emerge soon. Chicken count now 42 and Charlie our tortoise emerged from hibernation four days ago. I hope all is well with you. Best wishes Paula

Hi terry, just need abit of advice again plz, my leopard has still only laid the 1 egg how long should i wait until i take her to the vets for a xray. Also the temp keeps fluctuating between 29-31 and the humidity is i think too high, what should i do? The incubator i have made is slightly different to ones ive read, but i got it off a website. Ive used a plastic tank with a digital thermostat "like u use in tropical fish tanks" then placed my wire mesh above the heater unit and placed my egg in its carton with vermiculite in it, i dampened the vermiculite, i then put the digital thermometer with probe in it. The lid already has air vents. Plz let me know if what ive done is fine or not thanks rgds a panicky Denise

Hi Terry...please help...was looking at my leo this evening and noticed a pinkish tingue along the line of her platron and also between one of the shutes on the side of her shell...when I wipe it with my finger it goes away then comes back as tho it is blood beneath the shell...there is nothing on my fionger tho. Could be it over feeding and excessive growth or is it something worse??
