hi there just wondering if your little houdini has been found. if not im sure the little one will turn up. whilst i was away on holiday my neighbour was looking after my collection and he lost one of my prized leos. when we got back it took him over a day before he told us he thought one may have been missing, by this time we'd had the back doors open which back out from my reptile room and i thought there was no hope in finding her. we did find droppings outside and i feared the worst, luckily it was a warm summer so shed have had some chance. by sheer luck i was in the reptile room one night feeding the rest of the collection when i dropped the pot of mealworms on the floor and they went everywhere, next thing i looked up to find the very same gecko that had escaped over 7 weeks before crawling out from between some of my cabinets of reptiles. she was in amazing condition she was huge fair play to her and by the looks of it had been doing well for herself in her several weeks of freedom. i also lost my mexican black kingsnake the day he'd been fed, my mum hadnt shut the viv door properly and he seized his chance (this was november). months past and not meaning to but we forgot about him thinking hed gone under the floor and gone. well again i was in the reptile room faffing around turned around to grab something and there was my kingsnake slithering across our bottom stair. he had been missing for over 7 months and returned in great condition after what we guess was a nice long hibernation somewhere within our house. hope this gives you a bit of a chuckle to cheer you up. theres always hope

    Hiya .............

i got the mazuri pellets from deerfern farm web site , but they cost a fortune to get shipped over here .......i think it worked out at £19 for a 3LB bag LOL ......
none of mine ate them , although i didnt try the mazuri pellets wet ...what i ended up doing was grinding the pellets up to a powder and sprinkle them in the seeds

    Tracie xxx

ive noticed over the past couple of weeks theres alot of bad advice being given out for instance...feeding green iguanas 10% live food, having arguments about uromastyx being omnivores.
it doesnt matter what i say anymore so theres no point in me advising people on how to keep green iggys or uromastyx if my posts get swamped by others giving out the wrong advice.
so ive decided ill still come on to check my pms but ill no longer be posting on the forum itself.
just to add...iguanas...
