Default paludarium

hello all, im new, and i have a 29 gallon tank that i wanted to convert into a paludarium preferably with amphibians. i wanted to make it a paludarium and still breed fish!!! idk what sort of amphibian or whatever i can put in it so please help

fish wise i would have
guppys mollyes swordtails plates
maybe just two or three of each

ok cool. im more concerned abt the land animal or like semi aquatic creature bc i have no idea what i could use

Newts tend to be largely aquatic. As you said you were hoping to do this to keep breeding fish, the fry will simply be newt food. Salamanders are largely terrestrial.
Realistically if you plan on breeding fish in a paludarium then it's not going to work unless you have a giant zoo sized enclosure.

Paludariums look nice but to try to do it to keep and breed fish and keep amphibians is just not viable I suspect.

i replied before but i dont see it so ot might not have gone thru. anyways, what are some specific animals that could work?? ill have a mesh lid ig and the temps can be what ever they need to be i can add heaters and whatnot

I used to have fire belly newts. Amazing they were, I had a group. Donít think youíre able to get them now, but basically newts would work well Mine never ate any fish that I had in there either. Lots of bloodworm will be needed haha.
