I know the bird grit killed it because of the grit then crushed oyster shells, that defo caused impaction with a stomach full of sharp oyster shells and grit.

Why do reptile shops try to sell you this grit?

And if impaction was enough of a problem in the wild then there wouldnt be so many, just buy a rabbit water dish, put in viv and put the crix in this, they cant climb the steep shiny inside.

Out in the desert they feed on sand and dont suffer impaction.

they would if they lived in a sandy desert.
