My auntie wants a newt!

Any advice or caresheets would be appriecated

what kind of newts is she interested in? or are you just researching to see what you fancy?

she doesn't know what type. She has never had a newt before so is new to it all. Any types you recommend?

Fire Salamanders are nicely coloured and i think theyre easy to keep: have a look in the care sheet section under amphibians, there must be something on them

not sure if choice is different in Germany from here but Chinese Firebelly newts are excellent starters

i'll have a looky for a caresheet

Have a look in the amphibian pictures section theres some good pics of firebelly newts there

You could also look into a spanish ribbed newt as well as the suggested fire bellied salamanders and the fire bellied newts. Look on google or on here in the amphibian picture section there should be pleantly of pictures!

Hi

Just an update! My auntie isn't getting a newt. She is having one my bearded dragons off me instead!!

Now i just need advice on how to transport my beardie from germany to the uk safely. I will be taking her over in my car.
