tbh it depends on what you have on your list.

I easily spent 250 without and decoration and at least another 20 on some decoration (am in the middle of making a fake rock background and i bought some slate tiles / rocks).

min you need is...

Viv min of 3'x2'x1.5 (wxdxh) preferabably a 4'x2'x2' or as big as you can afford / fit.
Spot light,
Spot light fixture (ceramic)
Uv starter
Uv tube with a min uv output of 10%, pref 12%
UV tube reflector
dimming Thermostat
2x digital thermometers
Small water bowl
Bowl for veggies / salad
Decoration for viv

Plus don't forget all the little bits like calcium dust, nutrabol (vitamins), disinfectant, something to keep your live food in etc.

Don't think i have missed anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if i have.

Andi

Yeah I'd have to agree, I think I spent between 250 and 300, admittedly it is a lot of money but soooo worth it

Not sure if you have freecycle in your area but i joined and managed to get my viv with light attachments for free and a few rocks and branches
I also got a second hand uv starter from someone on here

Ebay for the rest of the stuff

Still looking for a cheap dimmer stat

Things i am buying new are the Uvb strip light and food bowl and of course the dragon

So far : Viv free
Basking light £2 for 4
Rocks and brances : Free
Uv starter £8
Plants £4
Thermometre : 3
Calcium : £3
Nutrobal : £5
Uv light : £20
Beardie £45
Dimmer under £30 ( i hope lol)

so just over £100 for everything so far
