Default viv help

can any body tell me what 2 use 2 build a viv wot do you stick the sides together with lol

Best to use conti board/ MDF can easily buy from DIY stores. I used the white connector blocks used for putting kitchens together that screw together.

Contiboard is a good, cheap option. You can screw the sides together, and use aquarium silicone sealent as well depending on how close a fit you manage to get and how humid an environment you are planning to have. Things like vent grills and glass runner should be readily available on eBay or on www.vivbuilder.co.uk Glass is cheapest from a local glazier - often local double glazing places can help out.

I found this to be helpful Viv design and Build Instructions

I have re-jigged his cutting plans for a 36" x 16" x 16" viv on legs so that it is lifted off the floor and I don't have to worry about putting it on a table or shelf.

Post viv

i used an old cuborard just turned it on its side put two lengths of contiboard top and bottom glass runners on them and used perspex not glass put vents in the back wil put pics on later
