Default Snake mites....

I know there is a thread in the snake section about mites but my boa has mites ()and i was wondering if Beaphar insect spray is any good for clearing it up or if i would be better off with something else?

XxX

All depends on the size of your boa, if its under 80g its not recomended. Other wise it can be good stuff and worth a try. Other product to try would be front line or mites off. x

Vaseline around the top of the viv and around the air holes will contain the out brake...
And if you are using Frontline do not spray it directly onto the animal.... Spray it on a cloth and let the snake move through it.... Plus if it's a small/baby snake dilute the front line 50/50.... it can kill your snake in concentration.... Also vent the vivs well before replacing the animal.... You will need to use the frontline evry 2 weeks to break the cycle of egg laying......
Get the frontline spray It's expensive but worth it.....
Also make sure you don't get the mites on you and transfer them to other parts of your house/collection.
